Der Band enthält eine Reihe von Essays zur Entwicklung und Rolle der Bildung und des Bildungssystems im post-kommunistischen Polen. Er stellt einen Bericht über die Transformation des Sozialen und der Bildung während der 90er Jahre dar. Seine Gedanken zielen darauf, die Bedeutung der Bildung und ihre integrative Rolle beim Aufbau einer demokratischen und pluralen Gesellschaft zu analysieren.
