Diss. Wien. - Rosenblatts Arbeit kritisiert die Disziplin der Internationalen Beziehungen aus feministischer Perspektive. Sie stellt sowohl "malestream IR" als auch "feminist IR" vor, um dann am Fallbeispiel des Turbot-War ihr Verständnis von "feminist IR" anzuwenden. Ihr Ziel ist es: "to make visible men and women in the story of International Relations" (16). Dies gilt auch für die Wissenschaft; wissenschaftliche Neutralität und objektive Wahrheit gibt es für Rosenblatt nicht. Konsequenterweise versteckt sich die Autorin nicht hinter in der Wissenschaftssprache üblichen Floskeln, sondern legt ihre "Subjektivität" offen. Theoretisch wie methodisch lehnt sie sich an die Arbeiten von Christine Sylvester an, deren "method of empathetic cooperation" (62) Rosenblatt in der Fallstudie anwendet. Inhaltsübersicht: I.
